SUSTAINABLE CICLE
Circular Production
The increase in world population, the effects of climate change, food waste, overexploitation of the oceans and the environmental impact of conventional protein production, among other causes, drive us to generate an innovative protein source.
At NatPro we are changing the food system, based on the principles of circular economy, we deliver sustainable solutions by bioconversion of residual organic waste using insects.

At NatPro we are changing the food system, based on the principles of circular economy, we deliver sustainable solutions by bioconversion of residual organic waste using insects.
Insects to nourish the planet
The Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia Illucens), has allowed us to take residual organic waste from different industries, such as aquaculture and agriculture, transforming it through a bioconversion process, into nutrients to feed animals and plants, reducing the volume of industrial organic matter that is disposed of directly into our soil and water.

These insects generate a minimal carbon footprint within their production process, in relation to conventional protein sources.
The Black Soldier Fly convert residual organic matter into body mass in an efficient and environmentally friendly way, also using the least amount of space possible.
This virtuous chain allows us to generate sustainable production, reintegrating nutrients into production cycles and giving new value to organic waste that is currently disposed in landfills.

Constant research and development is what allow us to achieve sustainable growth, seeking to consistently advance in continuous improvement of our processes. In addition, at NatPro we are adhering to the UN Sustainability Development Goals, working to meet 9 of the 17 SDGs in each of our processes.
